What did you do last week?

This week, my partner and I began Darwin. We are working our way up slowly, doing lots of unit testing to make sure that we have a solid foundation before moving onto the more complex aspects of the problem.

What is in your way?

Nothing is in my way at the moment.

What will you do this week?

This week, my partner and I will finish Darwin, and I’ll prepare for some interviews.

What did you think of the Interface Segregation Principle?

I thought it had some very important insights into the risks and returns of building Object Oriented Designs in various fashions. I really enjoy that it walks us through why certain implementations are wrong.

What was your experience of continuing to implement std::vector?

Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to do this this week.

What made you happy this week?

Dressing up and having Halloween/Poker Night at a friends place.

What is your pick-of-the-week?

Exercise! Even if it isn’t anything strenuous, its so beautiful out right now. It only stays this way for so long, so I’m trying to enjoy it as much as possible.
