What did you do this past week?

This week I finished allocator, and figured out times to meet with my partner on Darwin.

What’s in your way?

Nothing is in my way at the moment. I have less work than usual this week.

What will you do next week?

Next week I will work on Darwin, and hopefully have it done by the weekend.

If you read it, what did you think of Ethical CS?

I didn’t have the chance to read this yet.

What was your experience of lambdas, initializations, std::initializer_list, and std::vector?

I felt pretty comfortable with most of these concepts- lambda functions are definitely a bit more nuanced and powerful than in Java, and the initializations are somewhat intuitive.

What made you happy this week?

My dad came in to town, so we hung out all weekend while he stayed at my place.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week is to hang out with other people, even if its just your roommates. My roommate has been gone for a few weeks, and my girlfriend is out of town for a while too, so my apartment has been pretty quiet lately. Fortunately, I got to see some friends this weekend, and I’m feeling a lot better about things.
